Tim Smit covered such principles as volunteering,randomness, killing off negativity. Julian Treasure looked at the importance of the voice in public speaking and particularly the importance of avoiding the 7 deadly sins (Gossip, Judging, Negativity, Complaining, Excuses, Lying, and Dogmatism). If you want to influence, rather than turn people off, focus on HAIL: Honesty, Authenticity, Integrity and Love (wish people well).
